Hardwood Twigs from White Pines and Red Twig Dogwoods are also very decorative.
And if you don't have any, drive around your neighborhood and check out all the broken branches at curbside. There's a lot of White Pine out there.

IF NOW
Spray the clippings with Wilt Pruf, put them in water (never allow to freeze) and keep in a cool place until your ready to use them.
IF LATER
Spray with Wilt Pruf and store them outside in the cold and snow for freshness.
